Valentine's Day

February 14th is the Valentine's Day. In China we also has Valentine's Day called Qixi Festival. There is a beautiful fairy tale of it. Once upon a time, there was a poor kind guy has nothing but a bull. No one wanted to marry him. One day the bull told him a secret. Nearby there was a lake where seven beautiful fairies often take shower there. He asked him to steal one of the fairy's cloth when she was bathing, so that she must be his wife if she wanted to get her magic cloth back. Finally he did it and the fairy felt in love with him as well. However, fairy was not permit to marry human. Thus the Goodness was pissed off and separated them. They were poisoned on two planet which was far away from each other. Only on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month on the Chinese calendar, a huge amount of magpies would gather together to be a bridge so that the couple could be together. That's the origin of Chinese Valentine's Day.
