This week, I suddenly realized that the Chinese Spring Festival is coming soon! It is the most important festival in China. It symbolizes the coming of new year, just like Christmas. This will be my first time to celebrate it in America. When I was in China, on every Spring Festival, my family will shop together to buy new clothes. Because we have a tradition, everyone should wear new to welcome the new year. And we also decorate our house. The necessary staff that we must have is the spring festival scrolls, two pieces of large paper, written big Chinese characters by Chinese writing brush. We stick them on both sides of the door and the top middle as well. What are written on them are the best wishes that we pray. However, I have four tests next week! Sign… But I am still looking forward! I wish we would have holidays for our festivals in the future.

About Marriage
For these recent weeks, I watched a Korean TV series, called “The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry". The main characters are three thirty-four year old women, a journalist, an interior designer and a simultaneous interpreter. They are all winners in their career but losers in love. One is dumped by her fiancé when she go abroad to get further study. Another is dumped by many men because of her success and age. The last woman runs away before her wedding. Although they failed again and again, they still have passion and trust in love. They try hard to win their own love, never give up. This TV series is really interesting and encouraging, it encourages people to be brave when meeting their true love and fight to get it!

My new friend CoCo~
My friends bought a new dog last week. Her name is Coco, a really lovely labrador! Her color is so pretty, not black or white, it is chocolate. In our country, coco has partial tone of chocolate. So my friends gave her this name. Coco is only three month, but she looks not so small. She is outgoing and naughty. And she is also clever! Her father, one of my friend, put his staff into Coco' s home, because Coco is not that into him. However, Coco get all his staff out of her home! lol! Such cute dog! I really love her! I took many photoes with her, but she is kind of shy! I wanna have a doggy like her, but I am living in dorm now. If I live out of campus next semester, I will definitely buy one!
Chinese hot pot
Today I wanna introduce a very special and decilous kind of food, Chinese hot pot! Actually, it is not really just one food, because it involves all kinds of food. Hot pot is really popular in Asian countries, especially in China which allows families and groups of friends to sit around a table and eat from a steaming pot in the middle, cooking and drinking and chatting. People put the food they like in boiled water, like sea food, vegetable, meat, and then wait to cook, fish them out of the soup and eat them with preferred saurce. In my hometown, people prefer sweety, the most popular sauce is made of peanut butter and sufu. It's really awesome! You must like it once you try!

Trip to Chicago
My friend and I spent three days in Chicago before the MLK day. It was my first time to be there. Chicago is really amazing! I especially love the buildings at night! They look gorgeous with lights, a little similiar with my hometown, Shanghai. Women do like shopping. We were absorbed by the Michigen Avenue. There are so many stores there! Evetything we needed! We bought many things. And troubles followed, we got too many things that almost made us tired out. My friend we should have brought some guys with us. I was exhausted after one day shop! I felt asleep immediately right after I went to bed. We also went to chintown, because we missed Chinese food so much! We came back by megabus on the fourth day. We were tired but also happy! Chicago is a great big city! I think I will come again.
Really awsome hot spring!
Last winter break, I came back China and experienced some amazing springs with my friends. The hot springs are in Li yang, Jiang su, called Yu Shui. They are consisted of 52 different outside springs. The most interesting springs I like are medicinal ingredient springs. All of them are with ingredients, like ginseng, angelica sinensis and lucid ganoderma. They have benificial effect on people' s health and skincare! Although the hot springs are not indoor, but dry washclothes and bathrobes are available everywhere. I had much fun! After we were all tired out, we had a rest in the retiring room. You can pick fruit and biscuits. They are all free. I was really enjoyed!
