Rio

Today, my friends and I watched the movie "Rio". It really worth watching. The movie is so funny that I burst into laugh many times. The songs in this movie attracted me most, especially which sang by a cute fat bird. I will surely download the songs when they are available. In addition, the landscape in this movie is so amazing. If it is real, I am willing to have a vacation there. Anyway, it is a great movie.

Last ENG 104 Class

Today we had the last English 104 class. Some classmates shared their favorite text with us. Mcardle also played a video for us. One of the sentences impressed me, it said, when you are at worst, you are at best. I really like it. It reminded me when I first tried to write a research paper. Since I never wrote research paper before until English 104, I did not know how to write it at all. Moreover, the most difficult thing for me to write such kind of paper is reading so much sources. That always cost me much time. However, when I tried to figure out how to write it, I was improving my writing ability. So I really enjoyed English 104 class although I hated so many papers before. I think what I have learned in this class will be very helpful for my future study. So I really appreciate Mcardle.  He is a really nice guy and responsible teacher. Don't you guys think Mcardle smiles like Kung fu Panda? lol.

Black Swan

Today I watched the "Black Swan", which is a 2010 American psychological thriller film directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Natalie Portman. A ballet dancer wins the lead in "Swan Lake" and is perfect for the role of the delicate White Swan - Princess Odette - but slowly loses her mind as she becomes more and more like Odile, the Black Swan. In this movie, I first heard the whole story of "The Swan Lake". Virginal girl, pure and sweet, trapped in the body of a swan. She desires freedom that only true love can break the spell. Her wish is nearly granted in the form of a Prince. But before he can declare his love, the lustful twin, the Black Swan, tricks and seduces him. Devastated, the White Swan leaps off a cliff, killing herself. And in death finds freedom. I really love this story and the ballet performed in this movie. Natalie also won Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the "Black Swan". It's truly worth watching.

Doraemon

Doraemon is a Japanese manga series created by Hiroshi Fujimoto. I watched it when I was in about the same age as the main character, Nobita Nobi. Doraemon was from the 22nd century in order to aid. Nobita Nobi is a not very clever boy, especially very lazy. So he always ask Doraemon to help him, because Doraemon has a pocket which contains a lot of inventories. At first, I though Doraemon enables Nobita Nobi to have a shortcut to do everything. However, Doraemon's inventory always fail at last. So Nobita Nobi still has to do everything on his own. In addition, although, the inveentory fails, Nobita Nobi still acquire knowledge. Therefore, I learned that I have to make my effort to reach my goals. That's why I love this cartoon.

Pets

 Next semester, I would leave off campus, which I can raise pet! I have been looking forward to raise a dog for a long time. However I have not decided to buy which kind of dog. I love Golden Retriever very much. But I also like Alaskan  Malamute. They are all medium size dogs and loyalty to their owners. In addition, there are a lot of stuff I have to deal with raising a pet. And I would have to spend more time on taking care of him. I think I will be a good owner.

Comming Home Soon

There is only two weeks left to go back home. I am happy but also worried, because I have too much stuffs to take home! T^T What's more, I have to move out all of my stuffs from my dorms before May the 7th since the dorm closes in summer. My last final exam is on May the 6th, which means I will not have much time to arrange my luggage, because I have to pay much attention to reviewing my exams. I really hate to move so many things...Fortunately, my friends will be happy to lend me a hand.

My Sister's Coming Wedding

My mother told me that one of my sister would be married in May, this year. I was surprised that she made her decision so soon, because last time she talked with me, she said that she had not accept him to be her boyfriend. She is the same age as me. In my hometown, it is a little early to be married at my age. I was confused whether she had carefully considered. However, she told me, in her opinion, the one to be married maybe not the person who you love most, but the person who love you more and cares about you. I do not know which person I would marry in the future, the one I love or the person who loves me more?

ChatTime

Today I downloaded a new application from apple store. It is called ChatTime. The reason I downloaded it was that I can earn magic beans from a game. Later, when I open it, I found it is really a convenient application for me. Because it can make international calls to China very cheap! In addition, it doesn't require WiFi or 3G, Just the local network, like at&t or Verizon is enough. And every install includes 30 minutes free. So I made a phone call to my friend in China. It is much better than Skype! I really love it! But it is only for iPhone now. Hope they will consider about other phones as well in the future.
